Hey, Chris K here, I just wanted to share how much I enjoy this site, how much I've learned here and how grateful I am.  Alot, on all three counts.  This site helped explain rocket mass heaters in a way I could grasp; a couple weeks ago I dug in some huge pieces of tree a neighbor had dropped off that were just too big for me to cut into firewood, i got so excited when I read about hugelkultur i dug a 2 feet deep, 3'x12' trench for my lady to grow veggies in next year and I'll prolly get another dug before winter hits; links to converting a freezer into a fridge; links to solar heaters made from pop cans; really, although I can't say I'm a "permie", this site is where I come back to month after month and i could read for hours on end.

Thank you, Paul, and everyone who contributes.

Chris
