The harvest season is upon us and Dog Mountain Farm has an exciting day of events planned for October 23rd. Our heritage variety apple trees are loaded with fruit and we welcome you to come join us in pressing cider and making apple butter. Horse-drawn carriage rides will be available, weather permitting. On our farm tour you’ll meet our heritage breed turkeys, goats, draft horses, chickens, and the newest members of Dog Mountain Farm – two Gloucestershire Old Spots pigs. Play an instrument? Bring it along and join in our Old Time Music Jam – this year concurrent with our harvest festivities. All this might make you hungry, so sign up ahead of time for the last farm-to-table dinner of the year, a five-course meal with Washington wine pairings prepared by Chef Robin Leventhal from America’s Top Chef and served in the greenhouse.

Apple Harvest  Time:  10 AM-2 PM Cost: $5/person (free for children under 12)

Old Time Music Jam Time: 8 AM-Midnight Cost: $5/person person (free for children under 12)

Farm Dinner with Chef Robin Leventhal Time: 3-8 PM Cost: $100/person
