I'm on the board of the Catholic Urban Farmers of Denver. We have two urban farms in Lakewood and Littleton, and are trying to increase the availability of nutrient dense, organic food in the area. As well as working the farms, we will be working on members yards, and doing a lot of experimentation. We have a new website, here, where we will be posting updates on our progress. Come and check it out, and watch for updates!

We are gearing up for the spring again on our Littleton farm! (Our Lakewood farm will be fallow this year.) We are currently pruning fruit trees, building low tunnels, and preparing for early planting. And we are planning a tool blessing event and potluck in honor of St. Joseph on March 19th. If you garden in the area and want to participate, contact us through our website!
