This thread is primarily directed at other sites that may be interested in doing business with us, whether that be for advertising, guest posting, or whathaveyou. Rather than just exchanging coin, with the massive subscriber list here at permies.com, we can offer mutually beneficial media exchanges that reach our broad audience of subscribers. If you own a website or blog, and are interested in a media exchange, here are a few things on our wishlist:
Social Media
Depending on the size of your group or how many likes your page has, we may be interested in a social media exchange. This could entail you posting a link to a promotion we're offering, sharing a post of ours, Tweeting a link of ours, RepPinning promotions from our Pinterest account, etc. Conversely, if you'd like to do an even social media swap, we can do the same for you. Currently our biggest presence is on
Facebook, with over 11,000 likes on Paul Wheaton's page, and over 1,800 on the Permies.com Facebook page.
Blog Post for Forum Post
If you have a blog, we might want to do a guest post to link back to our site with. In many cases, we would be happy to do an exchange of forum post for blog post, and of
course, you're welcome to include images and link back to your own site as well.
Banners
Normally this is something we charge for, but depending on the pagerank and traffic of your site, we might just do an even trade for banners - you display ours, we'll display yours!
Mention Us in an Email to Your Subscribers
We don't like to brag or anything, but have a pretty huge mailing list - 30,000 people get our dailyish emails. If you have a sizable mailing list, we'd love it if you'd mention our site, and even better,
link to some of our Merchandise in an email to your subscribers.

our site.
