Greetings!
My name is Maggie Sharar and I am a single momma
Of two bright children. I am a freelance artist and birth doula as well as a children's face painter and fairy entertainer. I have dreamed of raising my children on a farm for a very long time. Unfortunately my husband never shared this dream. We are divorcing now and I would like to make my dreams come true! I have a few ideas bouncing around in my head. One idea is having me facilitate unschooling/childcare swapping with any children on a farm. I have a background in preschool teaching and nannying. I really want to work with the earth and teach my children about this ancient divine soul work. Most likely they would be with me m-thur. My daughter is 5 years old and could defiantly help with tasks and my son is 19 months and he will most likely be eating dirt hahah! Perhaps you have connections that can guide me to the right farm if it isn't a good fit for you? I also hope to continue my birth doula work and one day become a midwife. I have a lot of big dreams.
Also wondering if you would like to host me as a muralist for your farm. I could work on the farm and paint murals for you. I'm
Also a photographer and condo help document and advertise for your farm. I would be learning to wwoof from scratch but I am an eager, driven, and fast learner! Blessings!!!

Ms. Sharar:
I saw next to this post what looks like another post of yours. It says Port Townsend on that one. So I went to the "eatwild.com" web site and found a farm that is in the area of Port Townsend. I do not know if they are looking for anyone but they do grass fed/finished beef on pasture. Farmers like this, tend like people who have ideas on how to value add to the land.

Short's Family Farm, Roger Short, 1720 Center Road, Chimacum WA. 98325. (360) 732-4601 or (360) 301-3521.

It might be worth a call.

Sorry, I forgot their web site:

Cat talks about fish. Like it needs a fix. This tiny ad told me to never say "fix" to a cat person:
