This is how to start a garden! Throw some cow manure in a pile and let your layers spread it out. It was enough work bringing it. It's nice not to have to arrange it.

(My hugelkultur is in the background there. Some of the wood is more covered than others. It goes 3'-4' below ground and 3'-4' aboveground.)
