I paid $156,000. I am willing to take a loss, but I am not desperate to sell. It is 7.5 acres roughly half farm and half wooded with a stream. Would be great for permaculturalists, homesteaders, survivalists, or hunters.
I used this property for my Geoff Lawton on line PDC design.  I never implemented any of my design, but I would pass it along to give you some ideas.
I have been dreaming of having a homestead here, but it doesn't seem to be fitting into the equation of my life at the moment. There are plenty of trees for timber building and firewood. Mostly hickory with some walnut, oak, maple, poplar and 2 redwoods. I think a couple browsing type sheep and 30 chickens would work out well.
This property is ideal for someone who likes privacy or is concerned with economic collapse type scenarios. The field is located at the top of a hill. No one would be able to see your animals, gardens or food forest except for the 2 neighboring properties. All you need is a gate at your access and some strategically placed fencing and it would be very difficult for someone to trespass.
I purchased it about 6 years ago as an investment. It has been chemical and pesticide free since I've owned it. I only cut the grass a couple times a year, other than that it is untouched.
