In short: An opportunity to check out what Windward Community is up to.



Particularly, we'll be doing some work to establish *unirrigated* contour hedgerows as part of a largescale silvopasture system.



There will also be...

  • Press fresh apple cider (and learn about making hard cider)
  • Milk a goat and make goat cheese
  • Scratch a piglets belly
  • Mix and apply cob for the barrel oven
  • Tour and Explore Windward's village-stead, forest gardens, infrastructure and more
  • Walk through the living sanctuary of Herland Forest, natural burial cemetery, www.herlandforest.org.


    • All while picking the brains about the successes and failures of this 30 year old landbased community!
