I will be out of the country for 6 months + and am offering two rooms for rent and two cars if needed. Come take your sabbatical in a quiet, beautiful, semi-rural part of San Diego, with one acre of land where you can do any project you wish.  A work-exchange for reduced rent is possible (maximum reduction is $50-100 depending on how amazing you are with gardening).

We have two rooms and two cars for rent:

Room A: faces North-West. Two skylights, 3 windows, own inside (en-suite) bathroom with shower. $695 per month or pay for the whole lease and get a discount. If it's a couple, rent is $795 per month to compensate other roommates for having one more person in the house. Room is 10x14ish

Room B: faces North-East. 2 windows facing garden. $635 per month or pay for the whole lease and get a discount. Share bathroom with two. Room is 10x12ish.

Lease can be extended as needed and start date is flexible in January-February.

********* This semi-rural area is NOT served by public transportation. You will need a car. Renting out our car and use of bicycles can be negotiated too, see below. House is uphill, so bicycling here is not possible unless you are a crazed mountain biker. Closest shopping Center with Walmart and all the big chains is about 4 miles away.

There are 3 busy long-term resident professionals living in a large house. One of them has a service dog who is the sweetest ever, is always with him, and does not enter the living room/kitchen.

The house affords for a lot of privacy for everybody, and you may not see others for days on end. It is a quiet and beautiful space, where you can write your next novel in absolute peace. We are in our late 40s and early 50s but any age is welcome.

Plus one month rent deposit.

*Possibility of hosting a horse in one of our two barns can be negotiated for extra rent.
*Possibility of renting out one or two gas-saving cars (Prius) for the duration of your stay!
*Furniture can be negotiated.
