Education with Purpose
The Permaculture and Ecovillage Immersion is a two-month residency grounded in the integrated life of Earthaven Ecovillage — an ideal experimental classroom in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
Through experiential and traditional learning environments, students will undertake a transformative, eco-cultural learning experience in which you’ll gain practical, real-life skills while fostering personal connection and growth in a supportive learning environment so that we can all experience more happiness, vitality, deep listening, empathy, zeal for life, inner healing, and leadership.
The School of Integrated Living attracts people from many walks of life who share a vision for life that is ecologically harmonious, socially just, spiritually connected, and personally empowering, and that provides true wealth for all. The Permaculture and Ecovillage Immersion's engaging curriculum offers opportunities to expand one’s awareness, further develop essential life skills, and cultivate one’s unique gifts and passions so that when we courageously work towards the healing of our world we achieve maximum efficacy. The Permaculture and Ecovillage Immersion team is ready to help you know those passions more intimately, step into your fullest expression and play your role in the co-creation of a new culture and world.
The School of Integrated Living is excited to be partnering with the Global Ecovillage Network and Gaia Education to offer Ecovillage Design Education (EDE) Certification in addition to a Permaculture Design Certification (PDC). Both certifications are internationally recognized and have high standards for program delivery.
