Ever wondered just what the heck “permaculture” is? This class will introduce you to the ethics and principles of the sustainable design system known as permaculture; and, help you better evaluate whether permaculture has a place in your life and landscape. We’ll also look at common methods and practices used by permaculture designers and practitioners.

Instructor: Dr. Jeremy Cowan is the Regional Horticulture Specialist and Interim County Director for WSU Spokane County Extension. For the past three years, Dr. Cowan has provided education, resources, and networking to commercial horticulture interests, small- to mid-scale farmers, and land owners in northeastern Washington. Dr. Cowan received a PRI Permaculture Design Certificate from The Northern School in Scotland and recently completed a course in Permaculture Research Design.

Workshop will be held in Post Falls, ID Jan 27 - 29, 2017.

Pre-registration is required. Fro more info or to register visit: https://inwfoodnetwork.org/event/intro-permaculture-workshop/

Sponsored by the Inland NW Food Network.
