I was wondering if anyone out there has any hands on practical experience with a Hilsch Tube.  I have been thinking about running a refer and a water pre-heater off of one with compressed air, harvested from wind/hydro power (kinetic storage).  Here is what a Hilsch tube is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vortex_tube
