Just to let you know, the activation email I received after signing up today had semi-colons in the URL instead of ampersands.
e.g.
https://permies.com/bb/index.php?action=activate;u=myuseridhere
;code=mycodehere
As a result I wasn't able to activate by clicking the link. Once I had spotted the error, I tweaked the URL, copied and pasted this and was able to activate my account.
e.g.
https://permies.com/bb/index.php?action=activate&u=myuseridhere
&code=mycodehere
Hopefully this will help someone else - unless of course this is a secret test you have to pass before you can join!
