Hello -I have an opportunity to buy a house with large yard.
However, the house is presently not very green!

The plan by the sellers is to put laminate flooring over current (uneven, covered with vinyl), floor.
What should I do instead?  What would be the best way to even a floor to prepare it for reclaimed wood, for example?

Also -
current walls are full of wallpaper, paint, etc.
Their plan is to cover all with new drywall.
Then I could paint w/ earth plaster, etc.


Any suggestions??
