Energetic, Passionate, Determined, Competent, Hardy Farm Family of 3 from Missouri interested in a long term (career)position farming, ranching, gardening, caretaking.... We are not afraid of work nor are we strangers to it.. :)
We are Andy 34, Kendra 30, & Khloe 3. We are reaching for a more organic, self sufficient lifestyle... willing & able to learn(quickly) and do what it takes to be successful at whatever our next adventure may be.
Andy was born & raised on Dairy farm; Responsible, dependable, hard-working NO matter what the weather was doing the cattle had to be milked & calves fed. Extreme responsibility to caring for land & livestock properly.  Energetic and enthusiastic about life, planning, projects, completing goals, & enjoying each moment in the moment.  Very knowledgeable & practical about animal nutrition, care, well-being. Fencing, haying, equipment, & construction experience as well.. concrete, roofing, masonry, steel buildings, framing, flooring ect... There is not quit in this man's work ethic. Time management and efficiency are are his skills; as a kid each morning was doing dairy chores and off to school/ later working then a repeat of dairy chores before bed.. He is a proficient outdoorsman, too.
Where we see a need we fill it. By any means necessary we accomplish each task put before us. Meeting each challenge with practical problem solving- down to earth.
I, Kendra, was raised on a beef farm & have knowledge of raising various livestock and poultry, as well as equipment. I raised everything that I could on a bottle; lambs, goats, wild rabbits, puppies, kittens, calves, foals.... And have also raised fowl with an incubator & naturally quite successfully. Attended college for Equine (horse) Science, training, and giving lessons. I have spent the most time with Cutting horses BUT have a great PASSION for anything Equine- even cleaning stalls :)

We both also have gardening skills, & cooking skills... And are willing & able to follow instructions on how to do the things we do not know, yet...

Khloe is a lot of help for only 3 years old. Farm kid through and through, she has taken every step with us. We have never used a babysitter, always done Attachment Parenting keeping her with us. Homeschooling and educating Khloe on practical, real life are important to us.
We take all responsibilities seriously.
Our family is continually study & grow more educated on self sufficient living; progressive, forward thinkers that know it takes putting the hand to the plow to get anything accomplished and really learn. All three of us appreciate hard work, accomplishing goals. Our family works proficiently together; enjoying our close relationships.

We are open to relocation anywhere in the United States.

Hope to hear from you all soon . Thank you for your time and consideration,
Andy, Kendra, & Khloe

We're near Tampa FL and have been looking for help and this is a AD we've posted in Craig's list in the past:
Small sustainable focused, permaculture-based farm looking for others really wanting to grow vegetables, perennials and raise animals here in central Florida. We're offering housing, food, shared kitchen (possible transportation) plus a small stipend. We're family orientated, non-religious, social, community, environmentally active folks. Open to others wanting to buy into our farm as partners; cash, sweat equity, or ? Key words: homesteading, homegrown, climate change, Weston Price, ecovillage, community, WMNF, peace. Sustainable Farms are a lot of effort with little monetary reward but are the solution for a healthy life and planet.
If interested, our E-mail is www.ecofarmfl@yahoo.com Best of Luck!

Hi,

I responded to your AD a couple of weeks ago to the email "brooks..." you have several Ads online. Since we have not found anyone yet...and your AD is still active, please see our AD on this site under jobs offered.

Please let me know if you are interested and we can talk more....we really are open to ideas. We could live here forever and not do anything with the land and buildings but, that is a shame to waste them and let them go unused.

Hope to hear from you, but good luck in your search for a better life.

Thanks,
BJ
