We are offering two PDC courses this year.  Summer runs May 30 - August 15; fall is August 29 - November 14.  Commuters from the area come for 12 Wednesdays in a row, and receive their certificate upon completion.  We are 30 minutes outside Eugene, OR, and have been teaching permaculture since 1989.

The course covers permaculture ethics & principles, observation and patterns in nature, how to design, water on the landscape, plant systems, using animals, natural building, forestry, appropriate technology, energy, a group design project, and more.  Further info on the webpage.

For a fuller experience there is the Holistic Sustainability Semester, which includes three months of living onsite in the ecovillage here and studying five spheres of sustainability, not just the ecological/PDC.  Info here.

You can email programs@lostvalley.org about any of our courses.

Listen. That's my theme music. That's how I know I'm a super hero. That, and this tiny ad told me:
Learn Permaculture through a little hard work
