Greetings,

I wanted to inform the Premaculture Forum about a project I'm involved with in my neighborhood.  The Community Orchard of West Seattle!!  Over the last year we have been integrating permaculture techniques and design to create a sustainable orchard in our neighborhood.

We have an event coming up this Saturday June 11th from 10am to 3pm.  It's a class about BERRIES! and adding them as a creative edible landscape to your garden.  We also have more plantings we are doing at the orchard for a mini work party in the afternoon.    Here's full message:

Bountiful Backyard Berries  10am - 3pm
Cultivate beauty and delicious flavor by integrating productive fruiting plants into your ornamental landscape. Join us for a profile of those berries best suited to backyard growing as well as tips on how to make the most of your bountiful harvest. Hint: Samples and recipes will be shared!
