Has anyone written software to help with greenhouse placement?

I'm thinking, something that lets you enter trees (placement/height/crown size), buildings (placement, size, height), orientation of north, latitude, and longitude. This would let one see where the shadows are throughout the year, and determine where to place a greenhouse to get the most sunlight.

Has anyone written software to help with forest garden design?
