We are looking ideally for one or two other couples, who are interested in buying land (or lease to own), to join us on our 36 acre polyculture and medicinal herb homestead in rural SW Oregon.
We are very much in love with this land that we tend: with nut and fruit orchards, berries, medicinal herbs (over 50 species, we've grown 100 species here!), annual and perennial vegetables, not to mention all the life that lives here, migrates through, and delights us with the myriad expressions of living well! Our love and stewardship of place extends beyond this land to the whole living community of the unique valley in which we live!
Our situation is basically that we love our life on our 36 acre farm near Days Creek, Oregon, but it's too much for us to tend as we are in our mid 60's. If we don't find others who are interested in joining us and invest and take root here, then we will have to sell our land and move to a smaller acreage.
We are interested in connecting with people (anywhere from late 20's up to early 50's) who are seeking to buy land in SW Oregon (Douglas County), have some money to invest, and have strong interest and skills growing medicinal herbs, and/ or using permaculture principles, experience with restoration agriculture, or experience with rotational grazing of animals. On another note, if we don't find other to join us, we will need to sell this awesome place, so that could also be of interest.
