G'day,

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) Money Smart website, a Federal Government initiative that provides tools for people to make the most of their money, has some VERY comprehensive and helpful FREE apps and calculators for budgeting, saving, superannuation/retirement, investment, etc, etc. Although these are (obviously) set up for Australian consumers, they can be tweaked to suit most situations.

As a check, I downloaded their Budget Planning Excel spreadsheet and modified it to suit my needs - very useful tool. It's also interesting to play with their superannuation/retirement site just to gauge things.

Anyway, thought I'd post it here, someone might find the free resources useful - our taxes at work!

Enjoy.

Felix
