Growing Soil, Food and Community with Artistic Beauty.
Sunday, August 14 - Saturday, August 27, 2011.
West Fork of the Satsop River, Olympic Peninsula, Washington.
Tutors: Huckleberry and Ginger Leonard, Brent Naylor & Guest Speakers

Permaculture: an integrated land-use design methodology based on ecological principles with practical application from sustainable household to eco-nation to global restoration. Collectively we're facing an uncertain future and we need solutions like never before. The tutors of this course have 15-35 years of experience in a wide range of countries and conditions.  Their teaching styles are interactive, dynamic and fun. The course covers the standard international two-week Permaculture Design Certificate, taught in an integrated, hands-on way, culminating in several land-use design projects. Upon completion, a Permaculture Design Certificate will be issued. Camping and healthy, whole-food meals included with some indoor accommodations available. Tuition: $700-$1500 sliding scale based on work-trade.
