I debated whether this should go in the homestead forum or the cooking forum but have decided it belongs here, technically, since the device in question could be used as a source of power for many different types of items.

I love the simplicity of the device - a foot-powered flywheel that has multiple attachments - blenders, coffee grinders, drills, sewing machines, etc. in a compact size. It is low-tech, yet elegant.
