Hello All!

I'm pretty new to the site, so much wonderful information and community here!

I am about to become a Livestock Operations Manager for a historic organic farm in western washington. This is the first time I will be in a position like this of this scale and the farms current livestock operations are basically a couple of chicken tractors but they want to grow into greater diversity with sustainability at the forefront. I am here looking for farms to go visit, learn from and gain some inspiration from. The farm is in Snoqualmie Valley, my first stop is going to be Jubilee Farm as I have heard they are a Biodynamic farm with integrated livestock. Any other suggestions from you fine people?

Thank you!

Not 100% what you're asking for, but I'd recommend chatting with Brandon Sheard at Farmstead Meatsmith out on Vashon.  He's got a wealth of information about a lot beyond slaughter and butchery (which is his main specialty).  And he may have a lot of contacts you'll find valuable too.
