Hey getting ready to move to Montana just about an hour west of billings any idea on where the best land is in the area. By best i mean cheapest and viability for growing food an livestock on. If any one can help please reply.

So im moving to Montana in just a few short weeks an i need to know if cob is a viable building material as far as codes go. Are building codes severely followed or are they more lax like in Hawaii you can live in a non permitted home slash shelter for possibly ever with out a a county worker coming to inspect an subsequently fining you or having said structure demolished. These are questions I would dearly like answered by the well informed. Thank you very much

O so i have never build A. a kiln and B. anything out of cob but now with a lack of resources i am infact building my own design for a cob kiln wich i hope will work so i can therefore spread me knowledge so i cant help poor ignorant people like my self, but i need help i just dont know when the cob is mixed right right now were going off of some youtube videos and a few internet resources if anyone has any advice i would surely appreciate it. did i mention its a dome witch is something else i have never built before.

I have done pretty much the same thing here at our house i haven't told him he cant eat what he wants i just told him that i was going to start cooking and he was going to eat what ever it was i put in front of him or make himself something. he has been doing rather well though and hasn't complained once.
