Hello, neighbour! The cards I have used in the past were labelled as being for "electronic purchases" only, which I believe means that they were not for brick-and-mortar retail use. I never actually tested that premise, but I did a quick search and found that Canada Post, as well as others, sell reloadable Visa cards. I will have to investigate further, but that might resolve my issue.
The only option I seem to have is to buy a prepaid credit card, which always means I lose the last few dollars on it because no purchase is ever the right amount to clean out the card. Anyone have any other suggestions?
