Just signed up for the forum and wanted to introduce ourselves.
My wife Lisa and I just moved out of California, had enough of that! Bought house and 10 acres. Former owner had horses in portable stalls and two fenced arenas. So it's wide open for our plans to become self sufficient (as much as possible) and do the land right the first time. Heard about permaculture and wanted to learn more and start using it here.
Funny thing is we have a great neighbor who I will meet soon, Neil.
We are at 6k ft elevation and have a gentle slope to work with as well as hillside on the back 5.
So here's to learning and sharing our successes and failures as we move along!
