Thanks to everyone who has responded, I have been traveling for several weeks, so I apologize if I haven't been around. Buts it's a new year and I'm more committed to finding a path forward to a "renewable and self sustainable life", then ever. My wife is an attorney and I've been a successful entrepreneur for over 15 years, so we are very serious about the idea of finding the right balance between business, lifestyle, incentive, and collectivism! I don't think many people need convincing anymore, if they just read the daily headlines, that we are heading into dangerous waters in America and abroad! The clock is ticking everyday on people who want to find a peaceful, productive, and self sustainable life!

I'm going to spend the next several weeks, finalizing a "model" for how I think we could move forward with some ideas. If you want to private message me your email address, I'll create a group list of people I'll send this document to, for feedback and further input and ideas. We live in N Cali, and we're open for meeting with people in N Cali if they are serious and feel equally committed, and we have planned a trip to Washington State for mid Feb, to take a tour of some existing Ag collectives, family farms, and the Seattle area in general. I welcome any feedback publicly on this forum post as well!

Happy New Year!

My wife and I are looking for collaborators in a self sustainable project! We live in N Calif now and are looking to move to Washington State, Oregon, or even Hawaii and pursue a "complete lifestyle change". We are in our late thirties and are educated and successful in our current careers, but are ready for a new path. I grew up on our families farms in the Midwest, so I'm no stranger to the reality of farming or the work involved! However, what we're envisioning is much more then just a IC that focuses on its own "survival", we want to be part of and partner with like minded people, who are ambitiously and unapologetically striving to create a "working model" for the future, of how sustainable, energy-neutral agriculture and its related businesses can be profitable and innovative, while at the same time provide an alternative to the suburban, wasteful, inefficient, and debt ridden lifestyle most live in currently! I want to integrate recycling, refurbishing, invention, clean energy and fuel, permaculture, agriculture, and modern technology in way that embraces our modern world, but uses nothing but self sustainable practices to do it!

If this is something intriguing to you, please message me and let's start a dialogue!
