I've actually already contacted Cal-Earth and have also tried locating the graduates who helped with those projects in Pakistan way back - unfortunately, have not heard back yet from Cal-Earth and the project site for the re-building in Pakistan is down last I checked and can't seem to find the alumni who worked on it (though I spent an hour or so trying).

I will be doing some more research this next week to find other alumni who may be interested in coming here to teach a workshop - and also possibly posting in other forums to locate some instructors. I actually just had another opportunity come our way today of an offer of some land on which to build a model village and/or other structures and working models closer to us here in Karachi at the moment and won't even have to source the funds myself (BONUS!) - which is logistically easier for us at the moment as well - since we don't have our house built in Chitral yet.

I admire your courage in standing apart from the pack, have to be patient with permaculture because it doesn't always have quick results - but they are much longer lasting!

No, not a PDC teacher, don't even have my own "certification" yet, but it's on the list. Mostly want to bring earth-bag building techniques to the northern areas because they are safer and more cost-efficient than many of the current building methods. The devastation of the 2005 quake proved that (as most of the deaths were attributable to poor construction). Then as we work on teaching local and working together to build model structures and communities in that area we plan to introduce other permaculture techniques as well - the ones that are not being used already.
