Ashevillage Institute & Sanctuary is based in Asheville, North Carolina. We are based on a one-acre, eco-urban demonstration site with private residence, guest house, and extensive permaculture-inspired grounds that provide a vibrant living-learning laboratory. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Communications & Administration Manager will work with Ashevillage's director and management team to create communication strategies and media content with the goal of telling compelling stories, building our networks, and filling our programs. This position also includes being the main contact for all inquiries, handling registration and sales, and the manager of a wide variety of tasks under the communications and administration umbrellas. This position requires stellar organizational and time management skills, top notch written and verbal communication, excellent attention to detail and initiative, and the ability to be flexible and work as an integral part of a team.

POSITION AVAILABLE: Ashevillage Hands-On Site & Garden Assistant work trade position available. Starts ASAP. 12 week minimum @ 30 hours per week. Exchange for a place to live, all utilities, garden goodies, program credit, some on-site learning, plus leads for 10 hours/week paid work.

ASSIST WITH: Site maintenance, watering, landscaping, some gardening tasks, food processing and other related jobs at our one-acre permaculture demonstration site next to downtown Asheville.
