you are so kind to make this post. my property is 18 miles from Weaverville CA, the county seat of Trinity County, and 11 miles from Douglas City where there is a p. o. and a very good grade school. tho it's a 40 min drive to Wville I have loved it. good transition time and lots of wildlife, seasons changing, etc. I too wish you the best in finding land to fall in love with. it is a blessed lifestyle.

i have lived on and loved my 269 acres for 30+ years and am now wanting to downsize my life, so am ready to sell. it is a huge decision and i feel it is important to turn my place over to people who will love and nurture it. there are two parcels: one is 109 acres with two houses, outbuildings, a huge meadow fenced for horses, old orchard trees, gravity fed spring water + two other springs, great view from the deck of the main house, and no human noise. lots of wildlife (i'm seeking people who do not hunt) ... the other parcel is 160 acres with no development, but some nice landings and water available, and the top of that parcel is stunning. ... this kind of property is not often available, and i want to take care in how and to whom i release it. it would be wonderful for a group, or several families who are of like mind in caring for and developing this place. please contact me if you, or someone you know might be interested.
