Hey Kate Michaud, I can't believe no one has asked about how to get milk for eight years without kidding. Are you kidding me? If you are still out there, please elaborate!
Thanks

I see this is an older thread but will report my experience since I came across it.
I built an oehler-influenced shower house this year using a concrete/tile mosaic floor. I finished it with 5 coats linseed(3-7 days cure per coat in warm weather) and 8 coats carnauba wax(Bio shield wax finish #39). Its only been 4 months, and only 2-4 showers per week, but seems to hold up. Not sure for high traffic.

I lost track of checking in on the dailyish for a while due to family/ living situation stress, and I have to say coming back to a more frequent check in, the format is great, especially off grid on slow internet. Cassie I would KISS you if it didn't freak people out being KISSed by strangers from northern California.
Also, I am on a motorola android smart phone, on crappy off grid internet data, when I click in the thumbs up it turns into a thumbs down, is that typical?
My opinion is that including Master Gardener, Champion of Innovation, and Duke of Permaculture in the Sepp Holzer Lineage , if they could each be included, may pique the interest of at least two, and possibly infinite different main audiences(manythings are possible).
Thank you Michelle that was an excellent post

Hi everyone!
So, I live on twenty acres in mendocino county ca, but its a one or less acre hilltop clearing surrounded by tan oak and some redwood. I have never had birds before but have done a lot or reading, and I want to start with 6 guinea fowl , four layers, and possibly a rooster. I want to raise them together to free range and come into a coup with laying boxes at night. Or hens in a moveable paddock plus mobile shelter daytime, then into the coup at night. I know the guineas would probably lay outside, but the hens ... What size ,dimensions, do I need for six guineas and4 hens, and what about a rooster in this situation? Thanks
