Hey everyone. I have read about rocket mass heaters recently. Just found this website.

i have a 1500 sq ft house with unfinished basement. Its an older house, and i tried a wood fired furnace but was getting too much smoke out of the chimney and my wife didnt like the neighbors knocking on the door because of the smoke. So i took it out. Used a pellet stove but had to use fans to help circulate the heat even with a blower on the unit.
Can i heat my house with minimal smoke, and less electricity with a rocket mass heater? and 2, how do i build it.
Sorry for sounding stupid, but i never heard of this until 2 weeks ago.
