My "pound"

Hi, fiends, here is Parvat, from Bariloche, Patagonia, Argentina.

Last summer (here is beginning spring, now), I've made a pond, approx. 19,000 liters, 1 meter deep, as a water reservoir for the orchard, and I want to grow some fish there. I thought to put rainbow trout, very common over here. Do you think is possible? How many? And do you think it is necessary to feed them? I guess it'll be enough with the dirt of the soil and the flies they could catch!

If necessary I could give them some grains and worms ...

Hi, fellows. Here´s Parvat, from Patagonia. I have some hens in a cozy coop, but I want them to pasture in the field, and keep them near the house. Do you think I could use an electric fence? Should be any risk for them? Thanks a lot.

Congratulations, it´s an excelent idea to spread the principles of the movement every where, and better to generate an approach than many videos or articles that can hardly be read or see.

I take part in the permacultural movement by editing books; former journalist, now involved in communication fields, I began 8 years ago helping a disciple of John Jeavons to write and publish a book of his experience, "Huerta Orgánica Biointensiva". It followed it the Rowe Morrow "User´s of the Earth Guide" in spanish, and recently two books of Gernot Minke: the mud building handbook (sorry, I dont know the english name) and a little one about mud plaster.

Just thinking about, what if we do it in spanish? It wouldn´t be soon, after so many work did you do in this project, but may be later... I am available to face the job.
