Q: Are there any exceptions to the 2-vehicle/2 tent maximum
A: There are no exceptions to the 2-vehicle maximum. We do not have a tent maximum (outside of the six-person per site maximum); however, all tents and vehicles must remain within the campsite boundary and no tents are allowed on the grass.

I also checked out http://www.rivcoparks.org/parks/lake-skinner/fees/ and it seems to me that we could probably get a group rate for the 6+ sites its looking like we will be renting.

We can fit more than two tents at sites

Denver has a permaculture guild.

The Farmette in Lyons and CRIMPI in Basalt practice their own versions of Permaculture.

I'm 2 hours north in Fort Collins if you ever want to come check out our small operation!

Oh, and welcome just try not to bring to many people with you!

Hi everyone just wanted to join in and post a few pictures of my urban plots. Currently I intensively farm roughly an acre using permaculture principles at 3 different locations. All locations are generously mulched and we dig in wood whenever we can, building underground hugelbeds. Im working on spreadsheets that keep track of our inputs, one of them regarding water usage has shown that over the past 5 years our water usage has only increased %16 even though we have more than doubled our growing space and production. Water retention principles have been in place since 2010 and usage peaked in 2012, we are hoping that 2014's usage continues to decrease just like 2013.

Hi id be very interested in joining this camping group if there is still room! I will be coming from Colorado via San Diego airport. I will be alone with a small tent so i shouldn't take up to much room. Possibly renting a car from San Diego to make transportation easier. Please let me know if there is room, I won't have cookware but ill make sure to stop by the grocery store and bring plenty of great food!

Pharo Cattle company out of Colorado has an amazing breeding program, check them out. They ship cattle all over the country because of their well known breeding program. The main philosophy is "less inputs, more profits". Which means no antibiotics, hormones, grain, or hay. Only grass for these cows.
