What breed of micro cattle would be good for milking. Location is Northeastern Oklahoma, zone 6b-7a, winter low can be in the teens and single digits, very rarely do we hit the single digits. Summer highs can be near 110 at times, with 60-90 day periods of little to no rain during certain years.

This book is so full of informatin that it will take a while to process it all. It is borderline information overload if you try to read it as a you would a novel. It is best read in small chunks. I would definitely reference back to this book whenever you have a permaculture question.

Okay thanks, I'm new to the rocket mass heater "party" and was asking about ceramic insulation (didn't it was used in the heater build), because we use a lot of it where I work and I can probably get some for a decent price.

Would one of these RMH heat and entire 2000sf strawbale house? Would it be of any benefit to use ceramic insulation?

I'm in the Sand Springs area. I'm interested in learning more about permaculture. I have 5 acres that I am going to work on.
