When I was looking in that area (near NW AR), I found out that the Arkansas home school laws were a pain, but Texas is more lax as is Missouri. You may want to look into those first if you haven't already. It all depends on what you are willing to adhere to for homeschooling. I realize that was not your questions, but that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw you homeschooled. Personally, I have been leaning toward AZ or NM lately.

Finding a place to rent in your price range may be quite a challenge. When I was looking in that area, anything under your price was a real fixer-upper or was in towns. You need to look at the listings every single day as the good ones go quick. Good luck to you!

Wow! This sounds really cool! I have a couple of questions...
- How close is your nearest neighbor? Can you see their house from your house? I like a lot of privacy.
- Do you own this land all by yourself? Are there any liens on it? Sorry for asking, but there are a lot of scams out there and I've come across a few already.
- How long have you been there? And are the solar panels that old as well?
- You say you have "well rights"...what does that mean? Does someone else own the well? If so, does that cause you any problems? What type of agreement do you have with them?
- How far is the well from the house?
- Do you store the water? Or pump it every day? What kind of well is it? How far down does it go?
- You mention a chicken coup...do you have chickens and do they come with the lease?
- How cold does it get there in the winter?
- You mention that you have to leave due to health reasons. When are you looking for someone to get there? Will someone be there to show me the place if I can't come until after you've gone?
I have so many questions! I hope you don't mind answering them for me. I'll probably have more, but if you could answer these, I would really appreciate it.
