Three years ago, my partner and I quit our jobs to begin filming a documentary about natural farming (in the spirit of Masanobu Fukuoka). After traveling to farms throughout East Asia and the U.S., we are now in the final stage of editing the "Final Straw" documentary, and we’d like to ask for your help!
This is an open call for all farmers and gardeners and community farm managers who have a sustainable mindset (permaculture, natural farming, or even small-scale organic) to submit short videos (15-30 seconds) of people interacting with their farms. These videos will be added to a special section of the film that showcases how far reaching the community farming movement is across the world.
