I'm about a week away from beginning my build and I've put a huge amount of thought and planing into it, and yet I still haven't got a plan for a heater, yet I do have an idea. My father was a teacher for a good long time and he taught in a building that had radiant floor heating and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a Rocket Stove that instead of heating benches, heats the floor.
What type of insulation would I use beside clay, since it needs to be lightweight. I was thinking of metal dryer coil hose for the mass snake, but I'm not sure about what to put under and around it, and if I should use 3/8 plywood for the sub-floor with another flooring material over it. Anyone got any suggestions.
