Hi all,

In case my rocket mass heater won't have enough draft I will have to build a vertical piece on the end of the end of the exhaust.

But the roof is very high , and it would be really expensive to make the exhaust stick out about the rooftop.

Would it be a good idea just to have it exit parallel to a wall?

I am about to build my first rocket mass heater.

I am a little worried about toxic gasses escaping from the exhaust pipes or other parts.

Do I need to make sure that everything is sealed 100% before I add the layer of cob around everything, or will the layer of cob be enough to seal everything?
