Seed saving is a topic and skill that commonly gets overlooked. I had no idea what was involved before I took a series of classes on the subject. Some seeds like pole and bush beans are straight forward, just shell and dry, but others like tomato need to be fermented in there own juices to remove a coating before being dried or they can mold. Seed saving is also how we can select traits that best suit our environment or needs. To grow food that is more flavorful, more cold hardy or more abundant in its production it would serve us all to at least learn the basics of this valuable skill. This is a kickstarter that aims to share this knowledge and promote seed saving.
