Could water sanitation be assisted by pumping the water past strong UV lights? I've heard of this being used in addition to filtration to lower the use of chlorine in pools. I've not done much research into the subject as my hot tub project is rather far down my list. Here's some basic info I found on the subject from googling a bit. Using UV For Sanitation
