I am currently using vetiver grass as part of a restoration landscape project but I am also have potential problems with rabbits with respect to tree planting. Does anyone know or have experience using vetiver as a living barrier against the intrusion of rabbits?
Any links or information would be greatly received.

After reading the comments listed here I see nothing about an actual set of designs that can be used to build ones own keyline plow. Do a set of plans actually exist anywhere or is the actual yeomans design a highly kept secret? If anybody has access or advice with respect to the possibility of acquiring a set of plans that will enable me to manufacture my own plow including the subsoiler I would be eternally greatful.

I am currently constructing a rammed earth home and I am considering running buried pipework from the house approx. 20m to the edge of an existing lake. My hope is that coupled with a solar chimney it will draw in cooler air around the house during the hottest months of the year. Has anyone had any previous experience with this type of system or have any advice on alternative ways of achieving a cool healthy airflow around the inside of a home?

Can anyone tell me if elaeagnus multiflora ( goumi ) is the same plant as elaeagnus gris or elaeagnus rastrero. I am seeing conflicting information! There also seems to be two Elaeagnus ebbingei, one has purely green leaves while the other has yellow edges to the leaves known as a 'guilt edge'. Do both variants produce edible fruit?

Many thanks.....

I have a question with respect to extracting microorganisms from thermal compost. Can I use material from an active thermal compost pile to make compost tea or are there reasons not to do this. I have checked under a microscope for microbial activity and it is full of microbiology ( mostly bacteria )

Thanks

Sorry, I did not mean to sound negative or misuse the word tangle. After much experimentation I finally settled on a movable tractor system for my rabbits which allows them access to the grass, security and can be moved whenever necessary. I have endeavored to upload an image so hopefully it will be displayed.

I have bred rabbits for many years and that system looks like it is destine for failure. It is already looking for a way out! rabbits dig, which is why most rabbit fencing is usually dug into the ground at least 2ft deep. If for some reason you find a rabbit that does not dig my betting would be it will probably end up tangle itself in the fence and slowly frying itself to death.  If this system does work please let everyone know about your experiences...........

I am currently looking for the most valid information with respect to building my own rocket mass heater. Can anyone recommend where I can obtain the best set of building designs from that I can follow logically step by step?

Thanks
