Hello Permies, My name is Tom, I have been interested and learning the culture for a couple of years now, but definitely
a newbie, I recently purchased a several hundred acre farm just outside salem Oregon, largely because it is geographically key to my current source of income, but also because i wand to change the world just a little(or a lot). I have equipment, lots of out buildings, 5 cows, one new calf as of last week, 12 goats, two horses, two ponies, 4 lamas and a crazy outdoor cat we call dog. I am open to all ideas, i would love to work towards a farm to table restaurant, even a farm to glass brewery( one of my most enjoyed hobbies) I have looked into lots of CSA models, land share, intentional community, long term leases, tiny home bed and breakfast, and ....... Lots of great farmable area, currently have two ponds a creek and a spring. If i brainstormed all the ideas i have i would be here all day and then some, just throwing this post out to see what kind of conversation and future it can begin.
