Let's give this a try. I'm an old soul romantic who is still a kid at heart. A true partner in every respect is what I seek in the love of my life. Seeking someone with natural beauty inside and out who is meets life with enthusiasm interested in a homesteading life in rural East Tennessee, Is there such a woman out there, a vibrant feminine tomboy with a never ending desire to learn new things and master new skills. Must feel equally comfortable dressing up for a night out for fine dining in the city as you are in a work belt and boots working on a project or in the garden. must like good music,

being frugal as I am and with reported wheat and flour shortage being forecast I found a store with 5 lb sacks of gold medal all purpose flour for $1.99. off to google to find a bread machine recipe for all purpose flour
1 cup milk
4 tbsp butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 lg beaten egg
1 tsp salt
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp yeast??  I used 1 packet of instant yeast it worked great with whole wheat bread last month.

started the machine
about 2 hours the machine still on the "rise" setting. in I looked in the window a wet gooey mess in the bottom of the pan.
it never looked like that before
I opened the lid, put in about 1/2 cup bread flour and a heaping teaspoon of bread machine yeast.

my hopes are not too high for this
but will let it keep going and see if it had been salvaged.
Does anyone have a proven good bread machine recipe for all purpose flour?

I have not had a printer that worked for almost 10 years until earlier this year got a clearance item epson eco tank 2840. this thing has been awesome. ive gone though almost 2 packages,1500 pieces of paper and the ink tank levels, the black is still 1/3 full and the rest probably 7/8 full. 1 paper jam from a piece of old wrinkled paper that I was able to get pulled out with not that much effort. print quality is great and it is very nice when I want a copy of something and just click print and in no time out it pops. an online search revealed refill ink bottles that have thousands of 5 star reviews for just over $20. the days of printer ink being more valuable than gold is over if you shop around. hopefully one day I'll get some picture printing paper and make some new photo albums or wall decorations.

perennials are very good idea, asparagus, blueberries are two that like that will most likely grow no matter what if soil conditions are correct and it rains every week or so till they get established. this the reason I have invested time and effort into chestnuts so heavily. once established you just get more and more every year and they dont have quite so many pests like other crops can have.
for the past couple years ive donated surplus stuff from my garden to a local church. last year it was probably about 300- 400 pounds of veggies. this week I started off with a banana box overflowing with squash. the report I got back was most people have their own gardens this year but the box was emptied by those with no garden in a short time after choir practice Wednesday. The flying saucer squash/patty pan just started producing and these plants are super productive. I'm guessing this year if everything goes well in the garden donations may be double of last year.
I think this year more people than ever have survival gardens with the cost of groceries being so high.
