Hey friends!
As the title says, my husband and I (and our cat) are looking to find some soul tribe down in El Salvador!
We live in a skoolie, so we are pretty self-sufficient on the home front. All we need is water, unless we get absolutely no sun for too long.
We spent 10+ years farming in NorCal, mostly growing what you’d imagine, but created our own fertilizer teas, natural pesticides, built out some hugelkultur beds, compost toilets, hay bail houses, and cared for/processed cows, goats, chickens and pigs. I also helped Ayana Young (of the For The Wild podcast and the 1 Million Redwoods project) develop her permaculture garden from scratch. After that we spent a year on the Big Island, HI on a micro dairy learning all about the draw-down method.
The past few years we’ve spent diving into different healing modalities- hubby offers Shiatsu and sound healing, and I facilitate Shamanic Breathwork. I’ve also been a surf instructor for 20+ years.
Our cat pulls her own weight and is a savage rodent hunter, not too interested birds thankfully.
So that’s us! We’d love to help with an existing project or help start a new one! We’re down for the dirty work and can also support with our other skills, if that applies.
