I’m getting two kunekunes a couple months old in July. I have a few acres of pasture that hasn’t been grazed In 50 years, surrounded by forest, with house on edge of pasture, and a couple of spring-fed ponds. I’m wondering if I have to fence the pigs in or can I let them roam. They can’t hurt anything because I’m just starting to rehab the old homestead. Will they stick to the pasture and ponds or go wandering in the woods? If they’re sleeping in barn which is at one end and ponds are at the other end, can I get them used to routine of going back and forth? I’m around most of the time. Are they deterred by blackberries? Also have a small fenced-in vineyard-will they eat the grapevines?
