So far everyone I have told of my adventure in coming to Montana and entering boot camp has been a fantastic response! I have been telling people about the passive greenhouse! And I'm preparing myself in learning more about horizontal beekeeping I want to hit the ground running! I'm very excited about starting boot camp! Can't wait!

Wait, coming to Montana and entering into Boot Camp?

Montana? I thought it was just in California? o.0 What did I miss?
I've purchased access to the 100 hours of PDC content and the tiny download too. I've tried multiple times to download the content but the downloads keep failing (due to my internet connection).

So yes, I'm interested in this option!

I'm also interested in the "Better Wood Heat: DIY Rocket Mass Heaters 8-DVD Set" $65 tiny download too.

Question:

What in addition to the $65 for the 8-DVD Set above would it cost to have the purchased content put on a 64GB Flash drive provided I buy* and send you a flash drive with return shipping prepaid?

*I want to make sure it's the newer USB 3.1 Gen 1 technology flash drives with 5GB transfer rate)?
Because man if it doesn't?

Boy does it take a long time to download these videos!

Eh... here's an alternative thought~

USB 3 and higher is coming out (approximately 5G transfer speeds) so the older USB 2.0 technology flash drives are now very cheep on the market [$3] (approximately .5G transfer speeds).

Ever thought of offering to mail a flash drive with the content on it as an alternative to download? If so what were your conclusions?

If you haven't thought about it previous, what do you think about it now that I bring it up?
Good to know!

Personally I'm hoping some of the newer compression technology will still have a decent compression rate on video but... there's a strong chance your right.

So yeah =D I'll simply try it and find out!
Righty-o!

Challenge accepted =).

Now I'm going to download all the PDC Tiny Download files and try compressing them just to find out how much of a reduction there is or isn't!

You may very well be right but I'm going to experiment and find out personally =)
I take that to mean that there is no zip file download option (drat).

Are you sure it would be too big?

Newer compression software has some rather amazing compression capacity. Not uncommon to get a file down to a tenth of its original size. Sure it takes time to compress it in the first place but wouldn't it be easier to download a single file the size of a 10 hour video over downloading many smaller videos that together equal 100 hours?
Hello!

Recently bought access to the 100 hours of PDC content.

Going into a scenario where I'm going to be without internet access for a while (beyond a small amount of mobile data) so I thought it would be worth it to upgrade to the tiny download.

Question... do I have to download each PDC video one by one? Is there no bulk download option?

I don't mind downloading a large file and walking away while it does it's business but one by one for all of the videos seems rather time consuming.

Is there a bulk download option?

If there isn't, why not? Why not have a download option that allows you to download a zipped file containing all 100 hours of videos so that someone can download it all in one fell swoop (at a shorter download due to the zip compression)?

Hopefully there is a bulk download option.

Please tell me there is! Oy!
