Ok so Kickstarter responded finally and said they cannot link my email to the account that used the appleID email. The only way would be to put the Apple ID email into your system... I added it to my secondary email... not sure what else to do here.
That's what I don't quite understand. Kickstarter is sending all its communications to my regular email, the one that I put in this site. I think i was acting as a guest when I sent the money through kickstarter. I do now have an account with them using my regular email but... I think the two cannot merge. Maybe I can contact them and see if they can somehow transfer info over? This is so weird.
Hmm. I did have an issue with figuring out my payment and it turned out I could only get it to go through if I signed in with my Apple ID... so that explains it. Is there no way to transfer it over to my regular email? This tech stuff gets so crazy sometimes. Sorry to complicate things. Funny thing is my Apple ID is my normal email when I sign into it.
I’ve checked that I’m signed in and my email is the same. Payment has also gone through:) Getting the message that I don’t have permission.
