Covid is pretty tough, lucky to have a job that isn't going anywhere. I would like to be as self efficient as possible, not completely off electricity. Want to be off grid as much as possible food and water wise. So tired of the rat race, time to start living better!

Hi, I'm a 38 year old veteran, nurse and homo. I live in midcoast Maine and am looking to go off grid in the next year. Have a VA loan to use. I am learning as much as I can and hoping to meet like minded people in the area. If you have any info that could be helpful, have an opinion, or just want to drop a line, I hope to hear from yall!
