Looks like you are living the dream. I am in MI, still in the city. I am a country woman at heart. I have been wanting to start my own homestead for quite some time but I don’t feel it is in MI. I am also looking for a partner to build with. I am ambitious, hard working, and have a desire to grow my own food and preserve it. I also have an interest in herbs and natural healing. It’s great to hear you are restoring your lands permaculture. I think it’s essential for our ecosystem. Well done. I am not currently a homesteader. I live in MI, in the city. I’ve lived here all my life and have been wanting to venture out of state for quite some time and build a homestead of my own. I’m hoping I can do so within the next year.
